Sustain-World Ltd. actively identifies, researches and promotes genuinely sustainable products and services from manufacturers and service providers who have clearly demonstrated an intention to meet recognised sustainability and energy efficiency criteria.

the objective

The objective in this project was to take a set of pre-made HTML templates and make them work. By this, we mean dynamically generating content retrieved from a database, that followed the layout of the supplied templates.

The relational schema was also to be designed by us, as part of the project.

Leveraging Microsofts' .Net Framework and their proven database technologies we were able to create a web application that followed the industry standard 3-tier architecture. This meant that we could design the application in such a way as to keep the presentation logic entirely separate from our business and data logic, making for an incredibly manageable web site.
